my father visits from Aus regularly enough, and frequently rents Chevy Cruzes.. Cruzi, many of the Chevy Cruze model. Nice car, rental car review upcoming. This particular one has some oddities, and not just the message you get (above) when you attempt to go up a gear when moving too slowly :D

Why would it deny a shift up? I never understood this. My wife's Soul won't let me go into top gear unless I'm going fast enough.

Lol. My dad's mazda has that nonesense. Tried to shift to a low gear going up and icy hill, car shifts down then a minute later shifts back up. Then we started sliding backwards down the hill towards the corner and the ditch. Fun stuff.

my opinion differed. It wasn't great, but I'd say it was good.

actually, we did a multi-state roadtip in one, and you can't beat decent go, decent interior space and 40+ MPGs
